Upon graduation with honors from Dartmouth College in 1976, entered Syracuse University College of Law graduating in 1979. Commissioned into the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps and assigned to Fort Bliss, Texas, where he prosecuted significant court-martial cases including rape, attempted murder, and fraud. Also responsible for defending medical malpractice claims arising out of William Beaumont Army Medical Center. Transferred in 1983 to the Office of The Judge Advocate General in The Pentagon where he was responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to the Army Staff. In 1987 assumed responsibilities as Chief, Claims Branch at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, New York. In that capacity he defended all medical malpractice claims arising out of Keller Army Community Hospital. Also appointed Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York prosecuting criminal felonies and misdemeanors occurring on the West Point Military Reservation. Departed active duty in 1991 for private law practice. Over the past fifteen years has developed an expertise in prosecuting complex, high value military medical malpractice cases with a proven record of success. Education
