Commissioned a second lieutenant of infantry upon graduation from West
Point in 1989. Deployed in 1990 to Saudi Arabia with the 24th Infantry
Division during Operation Desert Shield. Participated in the liberation
of Kuwait and invasion of Iraq during Operation Desert Storm, earning
the coveted Combat Infantryman Badge. Left the Army and entered
law school, graduating from William & Mary School of Law in 2001.
Entered private practice as a litigation attorney with a special emphasis
in medical malpractice and health care law.
